It's not even that many years ago that we had a convoy of fans to "Sunny Scunny". The next URZ event after pants day, ISTR? Early 99?Schards#2 wrote:FFS mate, the world existed before the 1990's.iang040563 wrote:What about Mansfield? And Scunthorpe?

You should have been on here when we have this thread a couple of months agoiang040563 wrote:I was just reading the league cup thread and people were asked what team would they like to be drawn against, and I said Accrington Stanley because we have not played them before. If you picked one up yesterday, have a flick through the back of the Yearbook. It includes the stats from all our previous meetings with the other Premiership teams - excepting, of course, Liverpool... I hadn't realised how many of the 'big boys' we'd played in the league before (Everton and Spurs surprised - how far back do these go?). We currently have winning league records against Charlton, Sheffield United and Watford, and we're exactly even with Blackburn, Spurs and West Ham.iang040563 wrote:Not at all - I was trying to work out how many of the existing Premiership teams we had played previously in some format, and when you are a lower division team the Premiership teams are the big games.
I wondered if that must be it, when I looked up Spurs' history.Deadlock wrote:We go a long way back with Spurs - we were both in the Southern League together at the beginning of the last century!
