Credit where credit's due for Portsmouth. They're up there because they'be been playing pretty well under Harry Redknapp.

However, I did think they were a bit lucky against Wigan last week. Charlton should be able to manage a point.

This is an interesting one. I think Bolton will take the scalp of Boro.

Watford were a tough proposition for them last week, but I don't reckon Sam Allardyce's men will make hard work of this weekend's visitors.

Everton have been playing some great football of late and Andy Johnson has been a revelation for them.

Maybe I'm being generous to Lawro, but I read that as meaning that we are more likely to pick up points elsewhere than the Blades, so it's not as much of a 'must win' for us as it is for them.

Maybe I'm being generous to Lawro, but I read that as meaning that we are more likely to pick up points elsewhere than the Blades, so it's not as much of a 'must win' for us as it is for them.

this is a must win for us, we dont know where we'll be after our next tough run, so best to open the gap now just in case. I think it is still fair to say this is a six pointer, we havent proved otherwise yet

Because Lawrenson seems to be completely ignorant. If you look at the past history, it's not always likely that Reading will lose. Just look at these:

What Lawrenson said there is factuallly coorect. Just look at the bookies odds for relegation and you will indeed see that Reading and Sheffield United are two of the favourites for the drop.

Surely relegation battles don't happen until the near of the end of the season? Arsenal are down there at the moment with two points, but you don't see anyone saying that they're in a relegation battle, while we are in the 8th spot.

Releagtion battle and relegation favourites are not the same thing.

Lawrenson said it was a battle between two of the favourites for relegation, not that it was a relegation battle.
