Fans in Scuffle with Stewards

I heard that there were a few problems between our fans and the stewards after the game on saturday, I got the impression it was to do with the stewards stopping marcus from giving his shirts to the fans, was this true? Does anyone know why the 2 fans were escorted out of the ground?

Yes it was true, Marcus came to give his shirt to the crowd when the stewards stopped him he threw his shirt to the crowd before telling the stewards to oxf*rd off, which then led to the steward who had stopped him to get several oxf*rd chants at him and who the oxf*rd hell are you chants at him.

It wasn't a scuffle as such, it was more a load of people having a go at them for blocking Marcus.

The only explanation i can think of was that he seriously thought that the fan was going to storm the pitch.. which really doesn't look like happening.

Hmmm, I sat in a seat to the (just) to the right of the goal, seat 100 or so, and the steward came over and asked to see our tickets where we were suppose to be sat and ordered us into them... Yea, shut up mate, like we had sold our end out anyway! Would have moved if someone wanted to sit in them.

We moved anyway (next aisle along) seat... 80 ish i think, the steward told me and a mate to sit down (although during the match) when we were the back row and everyone else was stood up

Suppose that's the way stewards are..
