What does that mean???Due to Reading's policy of safety-first football
It means "I haven't seen Reading play except against Man U and Chelsea, so that must be how they play all the time. I really can't be bothered to do any research, you know"Jimbo wrote:What does that mean???Due to Reading's policy of safety-first football

Harps was excellent, again he gets slated for not being spectacular, most of our good set plays were from him, he passed well, harrased and was composed.
There passing was so quick by the time a tackle was put in, or not, the ball was gone.Alan Partridge wrote:Harps in the post
Their players are all over the place. It’s just so fluid and at 4-0 they just kept the ball. They must have made 100 passes and I just wanted to hit someone!
Why didn't you James? Alright not punch them but why not make one or two tackles mate!!!!!

Can't tackle them without the ball.

Yes they were good but are you saying that they passed it SO quick it was impossible for us to put a tackle in?

Then you couldn't have been watching the game mate. Yes Arsenal passed it very quickly, but there was also countless time when they were at walking pace just knocking the ball around under ZERO pressure from our midfield. Our defenders and at least 1 of our centre midfielders should have put a few tackles in them first 10 minutes. We allowed them to play.Gordons Cumming wrote:YepAlan Partridge wrote:Gordons Cumming wrote: There passing was so quick by the time a tackle was put in, or not, the ball was gone.
