Best fans in the world by a million miles (an opinion based on this short video clip, Liverpool on the telly and the Kopite loving media, because I wasnt actually at the game)
makes you realise just how plastic we really are.
You would never think that Reading play in hoops when you see this photo.

I've been lucky enough to watch a Champions league match at Anfield, and the atmosphere was absolutely spine tingling!susieroyal wrote:Reading Abbey wrote:Worked for me.BenReadingFC wrote:http://www.webbex.net/misc/clip1.wmv

Stop using that stupid fooking word. It is so boring. No one gives a fcuk about it anymore, we're all more than happy with the support this season. Of course Anfield has more history than the Madejski, what an absolutely pointless comparison!Reading Abbey wrote:I've been lucky enough to watch a Champions league match at Anfield, and the atmosphere was absolutely spine tingling!susieroyal wrote:Reading Abbey wrote: Worked for me.

I've also been to Old trafford on a couple of occasions and it's no comparison.
Our support has improved no end, but the feel of the club compared to Liverpool is very plastic IMO. The history of the stadium just absorbs you and the atmosphere can take your breath away.
Just as someone with respect for a decent Liverpool team, it feels good. I expect it to be better in the League match though.cmonurz wrote:As a childhood Liverpool fan, its just amazing seeing Reading running out an Anfield. Awesome.
Surely their support is plastic if its so amazing when you have been before but as soon as lowly Reading are in town everyone shuts up.Reading Abbey wrote:I've been lucky enough to watch a Champions league match at Anfield, and the atmosphere was absolutely spine tingling!susieroyal wrote:Reading Abbey wrote: Worked for me.

Somehow I thought you were a childhood Arsenal fan.cmonurz wrote:As a childhood Liverpool fan, its just amazing seeing Reading running out an Anfield. Awesome.
How the hell did Boris Johnson sneak into a seat behind Stevie G?Stretton Royal wrote:Here's the Reading end - sorry the photo is so bad. Plus one of Steven "Happy" Gerrard.
Stretton.
Not even wearing a disguise - very brave considering!Vision wrote:How the hell did Boris Johnson sneak into a seat behind Stevie G?
