Fair enough. I haven't actually seen much of him, but whenever I hear/read about him he's moving out wide or running at goal and smacking them in. I guess you don't hear too much about the support play. I'll keep an eye out on the Championship on SUnday.cmonurz wrote:1. No idea really - he is tall (6ft 2 or so) and strong on the ball, so as much of a target man as Kitson I guess.
2. If we can't afford Dave Nugent, we can't afford much at all. £2.5-3 million would do it.
Would Preston even consider selling him if they were in the top two?cmonurz wrote:1. No idea really - he is tall (6ft 2 or so) and strong on the ball, so as much of a target man as Kitson I guess.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Nugent won't go anywhere unless one of the bigger clubs in the Prem comes in for him, and he won't go cheap.Glen Little's Nose wrote:Would Preston even consider selling him if they were in the top two?cmonurz wrote:1. I suppose that is my point, who is available for say £6m? I am struggling to think of anyone.DaveM wrote:We've still got cash to splash from promotion, I think we can look a little higher then 2.5m-3m, more like 5m. Remember we bidded 5.5m for Lescott and Seol which was turned down.

No way Preston would sell him as they are looking good for an automatic promotion spot with him.cmonurz wrote:1. No idea really - he is tall (6ft 2 or so) and strong on the ball, so as much of a target man as Kitson I guess.
