Not seen this discussed yet, so apologies if I've missed it. Did anyone else see Sidwell taken out from behind - off the ball - in the very first minute?

Coleman obviously told his players "Stop Sidwell playing and you stop Reading playing."

I've been buried in work this weekend - barely had time to catch the match on the radio - what is the status on Sidwell?

Give zero discussion here and ditto on OS, I take it that it was just a scare and he's totally OK?

The only downside to the afternoon was the withdrawal of two key players through injury in the first half.

The fitness of both Glen Little and Steve Sidwell will be assessed next week, but both are hopeful that their respective injuries don't keep them sidelined.

"When key players go down for us we've got very good replacements," Coppell reflected.

"But they've played together for so long now, the core of the team, that when someone else comes in we certainly miss something.

"We definitely missed the flow that Glen gives us on the ball today - he was feeling his hamstring so we brought him off.

"Siddy had a dead leg just above his knee cap, which he sufered in the first couple of minutes," the Royals boss reported.
