04 Dec 2006 11:09Not so Mr Angry when you cash them lil beauties in.Excellent dabbles.. lad done well. Before the season started, I had a few bets with Bet365.
Doyle to be top goalscorer with a handicap of 18 goals was 15/1; had a £10 on that.
Reading to be Champions with a 48 point handicap was 25/1; had a £10 on that.
So, if Super Kev fails to score again, the top scorer would need to score 27 league goals or more for me to not win £150.00.......
The £25 at 4/7 for us to stay up will be a mere bagatelle after that lot; though the £1 at 1500/1 to win the thing is looking a lil bit tastier than I thought it would!higher wrote:Mr Angry wrote:Not so Mr Angry when you cash them lil beauties in.Excellent dabbles.. lad done well. Before the season started, I had a few bets with Bet365.

Not at all mate. All it does is make you celebrate even more when the player you have backed scores first.comeonthebiscuitmen wrote: If I had money on one player to score rather than another it would spoil it.
Not at all mate. I usually stick a couple of quid on Sonko for last goal. Rarely comes in but every corner or free kick we get in the last twenty minutes is twice as exciting! If I had money on one player to score rather than another it would spoil it.
When / Where did you manage to get that - surely not in the last few days?Royal Jelly wrote:I managed to get 25-1 for top scorer with a 16 goal handicap, but then Kanu has only got a 14 goal handicap, so I could do withough him getting too many.
and I got on us to win the league with a handicap of 48 at 15-1, just keeping everything crossed now so I can afford that trip to the nou camp.
