For I was one who could not be arsed to go to the match yesterday. I wrote it off before New Years Eve had even approached, I thought "Nah, Pardew has left now they won't be up for it"

I too had doubts about the result, but then again I have doubts about every game we play. If that were a reason for not going I would never see a match. Shame on you.

To be fair HuntLOLey you weren't the only one who failed to show in our area. The bloke who sits next to you was absent as was HeLOLen who sits behind us. However, you were the only one who I could call at half time for a good old giggle at your expense.

Thought you must have had a few too many on New Years Eve as me and Silver Fox exchanged our "seconds before kick off pre match wave" and you were missing!

I was just glad I stopped drinking around midnight on NY eve and went on to the soft drinks otherwise I would have struggled to make it!

I was close to not making the game for alcohol / tiredness reasons (I'm so glad that common sense won the day and I went) - maybe I should stay up til 6:30 in the morning drinking champagne before every home game
