No you don't you could have another view, best goal for signifigance( cant spell that word) was Doyle at Leicester, but i guess you had to be there, at that one point it was glued on that we were premier league, even though we still had to rely on others.

For the sheer going nuts value of the goals listed, Harper against Palace. I had to remind myself I was in the Reading end as I clambered onto the railings and into the neutral section between the fans.

Lita's second against West Brom was the best goal technically. Fantastic team goal.

I voted for Lita V Preston - mainly for the quality of the 'eye of the needle' pass that he got from Doyle... best assist of 2006 in my book!

I think the most important goal was the first one against Middlesborough (sp) as this let to the belief that we could do ok on the prem. Without this I think we could easily be in Sheffield's or Watford's position

For sheer going nuts value, Doyle's at Leicester alongside Harper's at Palace. For significance Murty's against QPR. For sheer quality I think Convey's against Burnley.

I think you'll find N17B that the Doyle goal bore absolutely no significance to the outcome that day because even if we hadn't equalised we'd have still gone up after the results elsewhere that day went for us. Still, if only Stephen Hunt had scored that sitter 2 minutes later!!

Emotion I would have to agree with either Doyle's v Leicester, Murty's v QPR or Kitson's v Boro but I mean technically the best goal in 2006. I selected Convey's v Burnley.

Lita 2nd v WBA. Just like this year the knives were starting to come out for him and people were doubting. Then he scored that hat trick! What a game, what a damn fine goal!! I nearly fell down the Y19 stairs celebrating!!

As others have said, it should be Harper v Palace. Coming straight after Johnson obtained and converted his penalty to give Palace the lead in a tense game, and then celebrated in front of us, it was a proper go mental go. It was also technically very good and epitomised our ability to hit back at the opposition last season.
