Long gets his first of the season - as above
Convey gets a good run out - just what he needs to get upto speed
Kitson get half an hour - need I say why that is fantastic
Federici although beaten a couple of times made some superb saves - must make him really feel part of the team as a whole now
Blooding of Pearce and run out of fringe players - makes them all feel part of the mighty Reading machine
Rests most of the first team - this means that most have had a 2 weeek break and should be well rested and fresh for a big challenge at Everton.
No injuries - has to be a good thing
Even the Burnley come back I can look at in a positive light - it will teach the youngestest and the fringe players that it aint over 'til its over.


On the minus side:

Beside the fact that we were cruising and it would have been nice to wrap it up with a Kitson goal, I cant think of any.

Very impressed with Bikey's distribution, though needs to take an extra touch every now and then.

Long still looked a little out of his depth - the sooner he goes on loan to the CCC for some first team experience the better.

Great to see The Bobster and Kits back, though Convey should have come off with 15mins to go because he had run his socks off and looked absolutel knackered. Well done both.

Also rans for Useless (barely CCC quality now, unfortunately), Sam "Dodgy" Sodje (aquitted himself well and popped up with a goal) Oster, Golbourne, Ingimarsson - all played well. Lita looked a class above Burnley and took his goal VERY well.

Seol looks be lacking motivation so Sir Steve needs to kick him up the backside.

MOTM goes to Federici - great debut, three cracking saves and excellent distribution. Well done Adam.
