Simon Church - Wales "FULL" International squad

by Terminal Boardom » 29 Jul 2009 13:17

The wales U21 squad has been named and Simon is not in it. According to F365, this suggests that he has graduated to the full squad even though he still qualifies for the youngsters.

In addition, if Ched Evans is worth £3m, what value SC now?

About a 10th of that? :|

(Besides, only one club in the country thinks Ched Evans is worth £3m)

Anyway, great news for Church if that's the way it transpires. Let's hope he has a big part to play in a successful season.

What they think and what they say may not be the same thing.

Sheff Utd : "We'll give you £3m for the kid Evans."
Man City : "Don't be silly, he's worth nothing like that - you can have him for £2m.

Jake Taylor also named as a standby for the Welsh U21s.

 How can he be on standby for the U21 side, having only played in our reserves?

And he's already been in a Welsh U21 squad so it's hardly an unexpected announcement.

being watched by Liverpool

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/4 ... eason.html

LIVERPOOL plan to monitor Reading striker Simon Church during the season - with a view to signing him next year.

Former Liverpool boss Roy Evans has spoken to Rafa Benitez about the talented captain of Wales Under-21s.

Evans, who is the Wales assistant boss, rates Church, 20, highly and has told Benitez to keep an eye out for him in the Championship.

Simon Church may well have talent but he is not a lead the line striker but could be reasomable playing off a front man.

SDR can see it so Brenda stand up to the Madman and threaten him with a walk out unless he starts to support the revolution.

Dodger has spokennnnnnnnnn

Starts vs. Montenegro. Looks as if he's playing in a 4-4-1-1 formation with Ramsey behind him.

Why is this thread in unfounded rumours - surely it's a fact that he played for Wales last night?

Uhh... none. He had one left-footed volley go slightly wide.
Only played first half.
