Reading's pre-season friendly at Wycombe Wanderers, that was scheduled for Saturday 13 July has been called off. Wycombe's pitch won't be ready in time for the game so the game can't go ahead. The Royals are hoping to arrange another fixture for the first team for that weekend as they prepare for live in the Championship. Due to the short notice it seems likely that any other game will be played behind closed doors.
Meanwhile, two dates have changed on Reading's fixture list for the 2013/2014 Championship season. The away fixture at Nottingham Forest has moved a day earlier and will now be a Friday night kick-off on 29th November instead of on the 30th November. This is nothing to do with TV coverage but because Notts County were also due to play at home on the Saturday so one game had to move date.
The visit of Middlesbrough to the Madejski Stadium has moved a day later and will now be an 8pm kick-off on Tuesday 22nd April.
