How does the steward know you have a valid ticket if the turnstiles are closed?Forbury Lion wrote:Scutters - If it's the West Lower and the turnstyles are closed you have to bang on the emergency exit and the steward on guard duty will let you in.
One turnstile is kept open, usually. I arrived 20 mins into the Brighton game last year.Tony Le Mesmer wrote:How does the steward know you have a valid ticket if the turnstiles are closed?Forbury Lion wrote:Scutters - If it's the West Lower and the turnstyles are closed you have to bang on the emergency exit and the steward on guard duty will let you in.
Yer mate, Much easier. Nice story.A few season ago I was coaching a junior football team which trained on a Monday night and I arrived during half time on a couple of occasions. I just knocked/banged on the door and once my season ticket was inspected I was let in. Parking was not a problem as the club car park didn't fill up in those days. Can't say if it would be as easy these days though.
They checks it..... although I guess they should scan it in somewhere really to ensure it's legit.Tony Le Mesmer wrote:How does the steward know you have a valid ticket if the turnstiles are closed?Forbury Lion wrote:Scutters - If it's the West Lower and the turnstyles are closed you have to bang on the emergency exit and the steward on guard duty will let you in.
