over the last 3 seasons there have been over 170 premiership matches where a big 4 team has been at home to a non big 4 team.
The away team has won on just 2 occasions.
I think I should point out, at this stage, that we will not be playing a premiership match this weekend.Tony Le Mesmer wrote:Here's something to consider if you fancy us to pull off a shock at Old Trafford.

Should get decent odds on a Royals win then....Tony Le Mesmer wrote:Here's something to consider if you fancy us to pull off a shock at Old Trafford.

You're more than welcome to add cup games to that stat. Doubt it will make much difference.Berthwaite wrote:I think I should point out, at this stage, that we will not be playing a premiership match this weekend.Tony Le Mesmer wrote:Here's something to consider if you fancy us to pull off a shock at Old Trafford.

Not a great stat really, if we could have a stat about F.A. cup games against Man Utd at old trafford I think it will be a lot more relevant. Not that that even matters, as history counts for nothing.jm_cooper wrote:that sounds almost unbelievableTony Le Mesmer wrote:Here's something to consider if you fancy us to pull off a shock at Old Trafford.

which two teams and what is your source?
Reading are 8/1 with Coral and Ladbrokes...Thats worth a £5 bet definitely. Not sure what the odds are on a draw.Greenwich Royal wrote:Should get decent odds on a Royals win then....Tony Le Mesmer wrote:Here's something to consider if you fancy us to pull off a shock at Old Trafford.

I reckon we have more chance to get a European place through the league than the cup. We will probably have to face Chelsea or Arsenal eventually in the cup along with of course Man Utd on Saturday and we havent beaten any of them in 5 attempts. Whereas in the league we only have Arsenal to play once more, coupled with the fact bar that Arsenal game our run in is fairly good, I can see the league being a better oportunity.Ashfordroyal wrote:We have a reasonable chance either way, the posts on other threads suggest our reserves will start.
Why not a first choice team? if we are deamed to be "safe" in the league.
Why not have a real go at the cup?, or is a possible place in Europe more lucrative or likely than the FA cup?
I'm pretty sure Middlesbrough, Fulham and Blackburn have won at OT in the past 2 and a half seasons.jm_cooper wrote:that sounds almost unbelievableTony Le Mesmer wrote:Here's something to consider if you fancy us to pull off a shock at Old Trafford.
