Exactly. I don't think we've played this season who I thought were unbeatable. Portsmouth didn't look amazing - just well drilled and organised. They have good League One players, but the standard isn't significantly higher than anything I've seen this season. That's the big disappointment - the difference between being successful and struggling in this division seems quite small.windermereROYAL wrote:The standard in this division is exactly as I expected, I didn`t go yesterday but I suspect pompey are above average, that makes it even more galling that we are propping up the league.
21 points from 21 matches (W5; D6; L10).Delboy wrote:It was December 2009 not sure on the points but Brian Mcdermott took over we finished mid table . Its the principle we can get out of this mess
And we finished 9th. Don't need to get that high. There are still 96 points available.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:We weren't 8 points behind when we sacked Rodgers, a point or 2 at best I thinkDelboy wrote:ITS NOT TOO LATE
What we need
New manager - Even Bowen or Hunt until a new owner appointment . hope for Warnock.
New Owner - By end of November
It happened before when we sacked Brendan Rogers
Positives
This is a poor division
Could easily go on a good run
Great support home and away
Good players just need motivation and right formation
With a new owner and manager imagine the feel good factor and support we could generate, Mad Stad would be rocking like when we scored yesterday .
Time is the issue and not acting on Selles!
