Sissoko is absolutely untouchable at the moment. Got everyone on toast.

And Pereira holds on too long and concedes a corner. Dearie me.

We don't need to play well. We just need to keep Marriott fit.

Having Marriott is a bit like cheating.

That was bloody insane. Tight angle, straight into the top. Does he ever balloon or mess up shots??? The guys on fire.

Of the 4 chances he's had in the last few days, I'd expect even a decent striker to perhaps score just one or two.

Surely in terms of shot conversion he must be better than Curo or Le Fondre? Stats anyone?

I think he might be the best finisher I've ever seen play for us. He strikes everything so cleanly and picks his spot every time. Hits it early. Great pre-shot touch. Great positioning anticipation and awareness.

Yes literally that's what I was thinking, but people rightly mentioned Curo and Le Fondre. Taking level out of it (you can only play whoevers in front of you) I don't remember ever thinking abotu Curo or Le Fondre "he's more likely to score this than miss it". They popped up at the right time but Marriott is another level.

aaaaaaand........... he's just managed to miss one just as I type this

He's the anti-Brayson.

Marriott's in, I don't need to watch, he'll score. Vs Brayson's in, well that's not going to be a goal.
