Wonder what the best ever GD is in England, bound to be some non league club that tops it. I would look it up but then I remembered that last time I tried looking for this sort of info I found that football over here only started in 1992.
...not a Rabbit hole I'd chose to dive too far down ..... but a very quick 'googly' found this - so the honours appear to go to Bradford City??

I'd expect the question re NL - may have gleaned an answer somewhere on NLM
- I know there must be at least a big double-handful of clubs that have ratcheted up well over 200 goals in a season even in recent times - so they'd probably be the most likely contenders.
...and since I'm ever one skirting the obtuse side of life
I'd be more interested in aggregate goals in a season.
Perhaps as a quantitive indicator of possible 'entertainment'
- I know as an example that North Leigh, through the 90s/00s, would regularly blaze away at the top of the Goals For AND Against charts all in the same season
-
would often scored close to 100 and tended to concede not that many less - so took a while for them to get promoted - presumably started signing some decent defenders.
Then they stopped scoring so many and plummetted back down again
- reached STEP03 for one or two seasons I think?
