I thought at the time that the hudders equaliser was the moment our season died. Such a stupid goal to concede and messed up what would have been an outstanding 3 points

Completely all over now, may as well plan for next year. Hopefully Rino can start then next one, would just bin off Young and Keane now tbh.

Only thing I enjoyed about that game was Rino, Lemon is tactically inept, maybe Pereira deserves credit

League table never lies, we're not ready anyhow , next season there will be expectation and huge pressure on all , this team clearly are not good enough to get out of this league , so big clear out and a new manager please who's not so negative and has the balls to play attacking football not this boring pass along the back line going nowhere shite

Can the FL deduct points for not turning up for fixtures?

Away form has reverted to type

Mansfield, Stevenage, Doncaster all **** awful. The one time they do turn up they let themselves down with yet another comedy last minute.

Now fed up with fans saying after every game that it was the worst performance ever.

Next season can’t come quick enough for him to swim or finally sink.

Just to expand on my earlier comment, most of the chants in the second half were negative, mainly towards Richardson but also Will Keane, plus the style of play.

Players were booed/clapped in equal measure at the final whistle.

See we're on a not winning streak. Last couple of goals were both set pieces

Not won in Yorkshire since at Hull in 2022.

Next away trip - Rotherham.

Perhaps Couhig and Jacobson will share another email where they laugh about #ReadingFC fans wanting Richardson sacked without realising they've CC'd someone in 👀
Honeymoon period over for these owners and all the fallout from the 'One Royal' to come. Best of luck @RCouhig!

Yes, hardly a massive scandal. Meh would be the word I use also

Boring isn't it? Just staying in and watching Reading FC with your life? Not for me, I like it.

But Pompey score a last minute winner at the joke that is Middlesbrough to keep Ox in the bottom 3

Reading now blown the play off race. Next week we can all watch Cardiff clinch promotion. Happy days!
On the plus side, how many teams have watched 2 teams get promoted at their ground in one season, without themselves also going up?

Yet according to Richardson he brought him on because he is a flair player, full of goals and won The Golden Boot.

We have a chairman and CEO to answer that if needed. We're in L1 so there should be plenty of options, whether an out of work Championship manager, an exciting L2 option or a Premier League coach looking for their first managerial role. We're not looking for a proven trophy winner.
Someone with a proven record of promotion would be good... oh. We've got one.
And judging by his post-match interview, he's happy to live off that one achievement (the other doesn't count IMO as he wasn't the manager).

His past achievement is proving to be about as useful to us as Will Keane's Golden Boot.

If Stockport win at Wimbledon during the week it can`t happen next week, but if they fail to it could be another party.

There would be some nice symmetry if Leam also gets sacked after a Doncaster game - odds on two of those in one season would generate life changing payout !

I watched the game with the Doncaster commentary and, as with most of the away commentaries I have seen this season, it was quite balanced.
After about 15 minutes the co-commentator said that he thought of Reading as a passing side but today they were playing very much long ball which was a bit of a surprisel-I felt like trying to contact him to tell him that he was wrong and that hoofball is the norm for us.

Regardless of what our style is, what I find unforgivable over these past two games is that we are making such a lame attempt to reach the play-offs and the effort has been poor.
Managers talk about nothing being left out there as a minimum requirement but our team leaves plenty out there.

I have said for weeks that we just aren't good enough to get promoted and, even if we fluked it, the changes just to stay up next season would have to be major.
The manager will no doubt stay in the job partly because the owner would want to save face but the jury is definitely out as to whether he is the right man to take us further.
He has been the right man to get us away from the spectre of relegation but who knows how he will fare next season.
