do enjoy wandering around the streets outside a stadium on google street view. la Bombonera the obvious winner for that

Corinthians stadium is interesting. pitch is below ground level and so the lower tier of seating also is. they have put only 1 tier of seating behind the goals and then left the stadium open. when you drive past it just looks open and you can kind of see inside.

It's basically the other side of (ie inside) the ring road from where St Andrews is now. Probably easier to get to if you're walking out to the ground from the city centre, but going to be a pain to park anywhere near it I'd have thought unless they open up a load of the roads or knock down some of the existing warehouses in the area. There's not as much information out about this currently.

I do know through my contacts in the industry who the appointed consultants are for the project, and that the ground investigation is underway for the site, so some of the enabling works are already underway.

River Plate introduced facial recognition last year for members, so after signing up and having a picture of your face taken for their records, when you later buy a ticket you don't receive any physical thing, you just walk up to the turnstile and it scans your face and lets you in
