I would imagine, if you look at the number of signings made over the years and how many of those are former players, the % will be incredibly small.

I think it would be a bad signing tbh.

He's been very injury prone (especially towards the end of his time with us) and he's been in the Saudi league (not sure about the typical standard of player and I imagine his salary won't be low).

Ever get the feeling he may want to come back? Yes wages will be good but he won’t be looking for what he earned before. He is 30 now but still good enough for league 1. Weirdly I think he might work well opposite Lane aswell and bring the best out in him.

Bring him home.
