LOL at the prices West Ham are quoting for players. You'd think they were a decent side full of quality players!

More hilarious still is that there are clubs that will agree to those prices.

This is a direct result of the 'conveyor belt' stuff I've mentioned before. It's why Forest can reject £120m for Elliott Anderson. Money (that they can spend) concentrated in the hands of a few clubs. Players only ultimately want to go to a tiny number of clubs. So someone will pay those inflated prices. Horse has bolted.

Yeah, I look at some of the quoted prices and think, what are we doing? WH want £50 million for an ok winger who has scored 4 goals this season. Are they high?

Is Elliot Anderson twice as good as Mattheus Fernandes? Clearly not, but the current pricing would suggest this. So, one is clearly wrong. If Anderson goes for £140M then WH can obvs ask for more

Everyone knows that West Ham are financially oxf*rd so they'll play hardball as they'll cave just before transfer deadline day.

I think any transfer between clubs in the Premier League has to be at least double the fee it would normally be to convince us that its the best league in the world with the best players.
