While I think it would be great to have an owner who will take a financial hit to get us out of League One, long term stability has to be the ultimate goal, we can't be in a situation again where if an owner withdraws financial backing that shit hits the fan.

Shrewd and astute transfer dealings are required, going to have to identify & dig the bargains out from the cast offs, the aged and the youngsters out there. Just have to be patient as it won’t suddenly happen overnight but then that’s the point of the enjoyment of the journey isn’t it?

Not true in all cases. Our local village team is run very well financially, helped by the fact that they also have a very busy bar that is open seven days a week. They are happy with their current Player/Manager, ex QPR player Richard Pacquette, because he is very honest and they know exactly where their money is going with him.
