mind you I've heard once you leave the centre it becomes shit city.
Newcastle Airport to St James is a 15 - 20 min taxi / bus ride. The stadium is right in the city centre and dead easy to find. Cheap flights are also available from Bristol (Sleazyjet)for those who live a bit further West. Similar timings to the LHR flights.royalsteve wrote:wow just checked
heathrow to newcastle £22 return with BA, ah plus £43.80 tax/surcharge![]()
- still damn good though and much cheaper than by car - assuming real cost of at least 20p/mile - (unless there are lots of you)
only prob is you have to get flight next day - can you sleep in the ground?
hopefully the game will be moved to a Friday or Sat
Flight times
LHR to Newc - Departs 17:30 Arrives 18:40
Newc to LHR Departs 06:30 Arrives 07:45
Whenever the current airport situation sorts itself out, just supposing another one develops around the time of this game?West Stand Man wrote:Newcastle Airport to St James is a 15 - 20 min taxi / bus ride.
