Not friendlies, they were playing both games in the Stirlingshire Cup.AthleticoSpizz wrote:Dropping down the pyramid a bit, Dumbarton lost both of their pre-season friendlies 2-0. Nothing untoward there, other than their entire matchday squads were trialists (inc. the bench).
Not quite done and dusted yet, that’ll happen next week after Celtic beat them. Scottish title chase will then have lasted 4 games this season, which is actually about 15 games less than normal. From Despair To Where? wrote:3 games in and Rangers already trail Celtic by 6pts. Is it too early to say the title's done and dusted?
Russell Martin is not a popular man in Govan. No wins in the league and thumped at home in the CL qualifier.
Rangers have spent £10m on transfers this season including £2.2m on a player from Sheffield Wednesday who would have been free if they'd waited another 2 weeks. They spent another £4.5m on a player they've had on loan for 18 months who's only played 16 games.
I would have thought given there is now promotion between league/non-league that that would make sense to a degree.Sutekh wrote:Not quite done and dusted yet, that’ll happen next week after Celtic beat them. Someone really needs to fix the stupidity of Scottish domestic football. Going back to two divisions would be a start.
Actually hoping now that Rangers pull off the miracle they need tonight and really rub Celtic’s nose in it.From Despair To Where? wrote:Well, Celtic won't have any Champions League money to rely on this season. That's an absolutely shocking result for them and really fcuks up any chance of Scotland improving it's co-efficient.
Slip one more position in the co-efficients this season and they lose another European place.
