Tbh at the times we played some really nice stuff yesterday. The build up for the penalty was a lovely bit of play

Didn’t think it was that ugly yesterday tbh. We should have gambled a bit more start of the second half when their crowd were on their backs and they kept giving it away. Disappointed we didn’t create a lot in that period and then a ridiculous goal to concede in the 96th min

Otherwise was fairly positive I thought
52/47, so yes, close. But facts aren't important, just the same emotion driven reaction.

Any team is going to try to see out 0-1 away against a good side from about 80 minutes.
True, when that good side haven't played well at the beginning of the second half it can be argued that a little more ambition, may mean you get to that 80 minutes by two or three goals rather than by one.

Those possession stats don't quell that argument as they show this wasn't a Bolton, Port Vale etc holding on against a team that have 70%+ possession.
It just highlights again the known issues caused by the poor preseason and the related struggle to get players in, in good time.

Next season will be better, next season the club will be on top of these things and hopefully we will be looking to start celebrating next Easter…..
