Lewis-Skelly has usurped Zubimendi as Arsenal's DM of choice which is no mean feat. But he can't get in England's 26 man squad.

There's better midfielders than Lewis-Skelly not in the squad.

But they're mostly attacking midfielders, not defensive. Though I'd probably have Wharton at least level with him.

Lewis-Skelly has just had a good month, that's all this season. Wharton is much better in that position. O'Reilly is better at left back and in midfield so I can see why Lewis-Skelly is not in the squad at this point.

I agree with 6ftK that Wharton should be more disappointed than him.

I did like the referee just before half-time taking the view that" if you are going to piss about taking a corner I'll blow for half-time" and he did.
