See this is what I don't get. Playing football is not a position of responsibility however much the media and fans seem to think it is. There are no requirements other than footballing ability to become a professional footballer. Real positions of responsibility such as jobs within parliament, certain council positions, police,etc all require exams and pretty strenuous methods to get in. Footballers are footballers...they kick a ball into a goal and thats it. Just because they are idolised by small kids watching football does not make it a position of responsibility. Its bad parenting if you allow your kid to copy footballers in doing stupid things when they read about it.Hoop Blah wrote:I
