Tuma’s crocked isn’t he, so that only leaves Bindon and possibly Savage, so there’s a chance this will get played on the expected date.RG30 wrote:My understanding is we have had 3 players provisionally called up (Bindon, Tuma, Savage) but a lot is dependent on whether the likes of Savage gets a call up the full squad and not just the Wales U21's as that complicates things.
I am working on the assumption it will be called off.
Wales squad
Goalkeepers: Danny Ward (Leicester City), Karl Darlow (Leeds United), Adam Davies (Sheffield United).
Defenders: Ben Davies (Tottenham Hotspur), Joe Rodon (Leeds United), Chris Mepham (Sunderland, on loan from Bournemouth), Ben Cabango (Swansea City), Connor Roberts (Burnley), Neco Williams (Nottingham Forest), Jay Dasilva (Coventry City).
Midfielders: Joe Allen (Swansea City), Josh Sheehan (Bolton Wanderers), Jordan James (Stade Rennais), Ollie Cooper (Swansea City), Kai Andrews (Motherwell, on loan from Coventry City), Sorba Thomas (Nantes, on loan from Huddersfield Town), David Brooks (Bournemouth), Tom Lawrence (Rangers).
Forwards: Kieffer Moore (Sheffield United), Brennan Johnson (Tottenham Hotspur), Daniel James (Leeds United), Liam Cullen (Swansea City), Nathan Broadhead (Ipswich Town), Mark Harris (Oxford United), Lewis Koumas (Stoke City, on loan from Liverpool), Rabbi Matondo (Hannover 96, on loan from Rangers).
Tuesday 8th April is, I think, the only possible date before 3rd May (end of season).Jagermesiter1871 wrote:if it is called off when will it be played?
BBC drivel again. Both Bolton and Huddersfield have already rearranged their games that clash therefore they’ve obviously had the heads up.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:No league one games are off yet according to BBC, squads only starting to be announced now....to date just Bindon called up.
If we just lose Bindon & Savage and have to play the game we are going to be well short of players as no one will be back by then....Hunt has said Elliott is a few weeks away still. If CBC is fit, he's usually called up by Jamaica.
Not sure Shrewsbury have players away - the home game was also called off in the autumn.
Was it a 12.30 kick off then?RG30 wrote:It was always on TV regardless.
Didn't know that. That said, pretty sure every game we've had in League One on an international weekend has been postponed.RG30 wrote:No all EFL matches that fall on an international weekend were on TV regardless of the 3pm KO time or not as the blackout rule doesn't apply.

Ditto! Though given Reading's games on these weekends are always off it's not a surprise. Have to ask the question though why this stupid Saturday 3pm blackout rule still exists, what's different about an international weekend for your team, if it's playing, from all the other Saturdays?Whore Jackie wrote:Didn't know that.
