PA system is fine isn’t it? I've never had a problem understanding it, and I wouldn’t say I have great hearing.Crusader Royal wrote:There’s a lot of PR speak there !
They are going to make the PA audible seems to be the gist of it….

Substitutes being announced are inaudible.Snowflake Royal wrote:PA system is fine isn’t it? I've never had a problem understanding it, and I wouldn’t say I have great hearing.Crusader Royal wrote:There’s a lot of PR speak there !

The bloke using it on the other hand could use some work.
Think we do a fairly good job with the big screen too.
But if this can deliver some material improvement for minimal cost, then that's great.

Admittedly I wasn't thinking about subs, but then I usually can tell who is coming on for us by sight and couldn’t give a monkey's about the oppo subs. I don’t remember a problem the last few times I went, but I doubt it would stand out in the memory. I reckon any PA system will struggle with in game crowd noise.Armadillo Roadkill wrote:Substitutes being announced are inaudible.Snowflake Royal wrote:PA system is fine isn’t it? If you visit a stadium with a really good PA, the effect of music before the kick off can be really exciting. At the SCL it's currently like someone holding up an AM radio into a 2G mobile phone.

5G would be an investment decision by the network providers, not the club. And frankly, the cost benefit case would never pay off to install infrastructure to cope with 10,000 simultaneous network connections 30 times per year for a few hours.LUX wrote:Hope 5G reception improves. So frustrating.
