Flamengo's match in the Copa Libertadores away at Independiente Medellin of Colombia was abandoned last night due to fan violence. seats were being ripped up and thrown on the pitch, fireworks shot onto the pitch at players and staff, then fans decided to try and set their own stadium on fire so the stadium had to be evacuated

Seems harsh, but rules are rules I guess. Maybe a temporary ban for a repeat offender? Let's hope not! But the mods would just be doing their job, so couldn't blame them.
