Having Irish roots I'm definitely happy to see them win and Doyle playing is an added bonus. Got a fair few cousins asking me to bring a load of Doyle 9 shirts next time I'm over. Taking big notice of Reading in one staunchly GAA corner of Mayo.

If it wasn't for Doyle I would have nothing but a passing interest in their results but because of Doyle I like to watch and see how he does.
I actually prefer Iceland because they have two of our players but unfortunately we hardly ever get to see their games.
As France is nearer than Eire I prefer them and they have much more interesting players to watch.

Irish roots on my mother's side here too, from Cork via Dublin. Oddly, I'd never want Ireland to beat England at football, but would cheer them every inch of the way in rugby. I even like the French to beat England at rugby. I have no explanation for this.
