Would you pay extra to stand at matches?

In the light of devlopments in the safe standing campaign, I'm just trying to gauge people's opinions on this.

As the Green Guide requires more space for a standing spectator than a seated one, so that would mean capacities would be lower wit standing areas otherwise clubs would lose out financially.

Would you be prepared to pay a little extra to stand at a match?

would love to stand again but wouldn't pay extra (although if we're talking a quid I probably would which contradicts what i just said!)

I wouldn't and if the FSF suddenly went for this just so they could get some standing back then it will make their valiant (and far more important to the majority of fans) campaign on pricing seem a bit stupid

In a word, no.

At worse I would expect to pay the same but certainly no more. After all you are, in essence, getting less for your money.

If the average standing fan needs more room than a sitting one then how do capacities in Germany increase when they use the standing areas?

i think that standim would be a good idea if it can be done safely.

all you need is an area at the back off a kop here people can stand without a detrimental effect to anyomne else

Standing areas won't happen in this country, the best solution is to stand infront of your seat. If enough people do it theres nothing anyone can do.

If enough people do it and continue to do it breaking the safety code of the stadia then I can see grounds being closed at some point and all fixtures being played behind closed doors for one weekend. May not happen soon but could well happen.

Maybe it was time the safety code was looked at instead of wasting time trying to push ahead for standing areas that won't ever happen.

Theres been no injuries caused by standing in seats in recent history. teams score.

If it's safe to jump up and down for a goal it's safe to stand persistantly.

Can anyone honestly see RFC taking notice of STAR or other fans and redesigning the Madejski to make way for standing room.

Deluded.

The only way would be if clubs followed the German example and got more fans into the standing areas and made more money.
