Fwiw, City's win at the weekend means there won't be a play-off to decide the Premier League title. A 1-1 draw would have seen that possibility remain, but City now have the best of the head to head record. Remains unlikely - but possible, that the teams could finish the season equal on points, GD and goals scored.

Also fwiw, as I didn't know this - if this happens anywhere in the table not affected by the title, European qualification or relegation, then the two teams are deemed tied and occupy the same official position in the league.

The Premier League should have announced last week that goals from corners wouldn't be counted towards GD if it was a tie just to watch the Arsenal fans explode.

28 shots, 9 on target, 2 hit the woodwork, numerous blocked.

They were way way off their best and fiddling about in the oppo box too often (72 touches!), but at least they were generally driving forward with the ball rather than knocking it backwards and sideways in their own half for minutes on end, at least their keeper wasn’t standing on the ball for 20 seconds looking for a pass out from the back, at least they weren’t taking a minute over every throw in and corner, at least they weren’t reliant on set pieces for their best opportunities to score…

That's one thing that feels different this season. Usually as a neutral you look forward to watching the games involving the 2 chasing the title as they are entertaining to watch. But Arsenal and Man City are both really just not much fun to watch this season.
