As odd as it sounds, I almost feel like I’m being asked to support a different team.

It feels like I’m being asked to become a Wycombe fan in a bigger stadium, wearing a different kit.

Maybe it’s just the reset we deserve, but it really feels like we’ve gone from expecting to be a solid mid-table Championship club to reverting back to the small-team mentality I remember when I first started watching in the late 70s.

I guess the journey was fun, but I don’t remember ever feeling as apathetic towards the club as I do at the moment.

Now we’ve been utterly ruined by three successive terrible owners we’re lucky to still be here and are, indeed, are now being reset to the next expectation level hoping it will be something along the lines of a Brentford, Fulham or Bournemouth.

Issue this season will be that while we’re still one of the bigger sides in the division we’re up against some very big names at this level, plus a few sides that have been at higher levels more recently, therefore it is likely to be really challenging to get the best of the talent that might available over the summer.

According to someone on here the few years ago the "reset" he was looking forward to when we were struggling in the Championship, , was relegation, followed by new grounds to visit, winning more matches, promotion after a couple of seasons. That worked out well. then. Whatever happened to him?

I saw on TV the last match had a big pre game fireworks display. The club seems to have a fairly complicated membership setup. On the pitch they are functional rather than entertaining, and there is American ownership in place. The manager is also an ulikeable twat. Could be worth considering.
