Due to a shortfall in their budget for 2026/27 of €2.7m, they have been relegated from the 3rd Divsion into the Bavarian Regional League (4th tier). However, they have to find €1m to gain their license for that division, else they may be relegated again or even enter insolvency.

1860 finished 8th in the 3rd Division this last season. TV Havelse will be reprieved from relegation as a result of 1860's forced relegation.
Former German champions and Cup Winners Cup winner too. what a mess.
Second time it's happened too. When they were relegated from the 2. Bundesliga in 2016/17, they were denied a license from the DFB for the 3. Division and were relegated directly to the Regional Leagues. They were promoted the following season and met license requirements but are now in breach again - feels even more serious this time.

Segunda play off final coming up a week on saturday. Almeria Vs Malaga

quite interesting seeing both Deportivo & Malaga come back up from the 3rd tier to the 2nd tier 2 season ago, and now Deportivo have been promoted back to La Liga and Malaga are one game away from joining them

I notice Malaga have a 19 year old half-Irishman playing in midfield for them

Boavista fans have managed to halt an asset liquidation which would have seen their stadium demolished, and a court has set out a 'recovery framework protection' which is basically laying out an agreed pathway for the club to get back to starting up again, which then includes all the hurdles that must be cleared along the way for that to happen, and there are apparently many of them, and clearing their debts is included in that, which will be a huge challenge

Didn't win the Cup Winners Cup but were beaten by West Ham in the 1965 final at Wembley.

They were the first team from Munich to win the Bundesliga though.

I thought my memory wasn't so bad that I didn't realise 1860 had beaten West Ham-thanks for pointing it out.
I was there for the game at Wembley and have never since been in such a noisy crowd anywhere , caused by the horns that were allowed into the stadium.
