That was such a bizarre night. I remember some people not having any clue about what was going on when they arrived at the ground and seeing the news reports on the concourse TVs.

Compare that to now when we have news and major events at our fingertips, it feels worlds apart.

As far as modern legends go, there aren't too many. It seems so many players have had the best times of their careers with us that if they do come back it's not usually particularly noteworthy.

EDIT He's absolutely not a legend at all but I always enjoyed when Matt Mills came back and was absolute shit against us, to pretty unanimous jeers from the home crowd.

Yes he did :D January 2014 it was. He’d left us for Leicester a couple of years previously but quickly fell out of favour and moved onto Bolton after only one season with the Foxes. He retired in 2020 after a season at FGR and is now 39.
