There’s always those that don’t wait to see and judge things first, just go right on with their narrative. Who knows whether Kyreece will be the worst ever signing or a right little diamond until he’s played a few games? He’ll probably be somewhere in between as a lot of it will come down to the management’s plans for the team overall. No point buying a Lamborghini and then teaming it up with a couple of tractors and a rusty 2CV.
Please point out where I said anything negative about this signing?
Was picking up on the observation made by RW, I lost the thread of allegory so pardon me if I’ve got the wrong stick but you do have some previous - with managers for example.
Well next time perhaps have a read back for context and before jumping on bandwagons.
Now that’s not me saying I don’t like the signing, I think it’s the sort of player we should be going for, young and up and coming.
And as i say this isnt a slight on lisbie, by all accouts he's a good up and coming player. We matched sheff wed and huddersfiled offers -
look im not bashing couhig over this signing
I'm not complaining about the player; I've said I think it's a good signing. I'm not complaining about the owners; I think it's good that they have signed him.
My involvement in this thread is in reply to a poster who asked whether my opinion on Couhig has changed now we've signed Lisbie. My response is no, I'm not going to start sucking his dick for performing his duties as custodian of this club, one of which is bringing new players in. Which is what most clubs do, most windows. And I don't see why there needs to be massive fanfare or me changing my mind because we've signed one player - The bare minimum I would expect of an owner of a football club to do, especially on the back of 13 players leaving.
