Utterly dreadful and no positives for anyone today. That is Noel Hunt toast for the job full time which is hopefully a good thing. Massive clear out incoming. There is a spine of a team we can build from but an exciting summer build incoming. Bowen needs to back his statement and help build a team, starting with the right appointment of manager and back room staff. Some good games to look forward to next year and excited about the bit of unknown but still hurts to see Huddersfield celebrating and other teams above us. URZ.

Apparently had 10 shots on target in 5 games under Hunt. Says it all pretty much. Ince was a problem but wasn’t THE problem. A poor set of players, esp once the injuries taken into account as well

Especially when off balance. It's just brain dead. And the senior players led the way on it. We can't create a chance so I guess we'll just leather it and hope.

As this will almost certainly be 13 without a win, what is the club record? I think the record is something like 18 games stretching over 2 seasons in the mid 70s? Be interesting to also know how many away games without a win (currently it’s 11 with 1 draw and 10 defeats) The league record for consecutive games with no wins is 36 and is held jointly by Derby and Macclesfield so still quite some way to go for Reading.

Yeah, that's why I said club record. 15 rings a bell for some reason.

We were on 32 points on Christmas day we picked up 3 wins and 18 points in 23 games since then. still would have stayed up without the deduction, but the end of the day not good enough.
