Oxford Game Moved

Reading's away game against Oxford United in League One has been moved after the police requested a change to make sure they have enough manpower at the game. The game was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday 29 August but falls on a busy weekend for the police and is a fixture that has not always ran smoothly due to the rivalry between Reading and newly relegated Oxford.

The Royals will now play at the ground with three stands on Tuesday 8 September and kick-off will be 7:45pm. The new date might clash with the date reserved for the third round of the league cup, so if either club make it through to round three the league game would move again to Tuesday 15 September.

Reading are scheduled to play Bromley in the League Cup, away on 8 August.
